Reversi (Othello) Rules & Guide

1. Sandwich & Flip

Black moves first. Place a disc so it outflanks one or more opponent discs in a straight line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) to flip them to your color.

2. Valid Moves & Forced Pass

Every move MUST flip at least one opponent disc. If a player has no valid legal moves, their turn is automatically passed. The game ends when neither can move.

3. Corner & Edge Strategy

Corner discs can never be flipped once captured! Strive to anchor corner squares and control board borders while limiting your opponent's move mobility.

4. 3D Board & P2P Multiplayer
